We recommended upgrading the standard transmission to a Gearmotive T50 close-ratio dog gearbox, giving the engine closer gear spacing and helping keep the 4AGE in its optimum power range during acceleration and gear changes.
To further improve the car’s cornering performance, we also fitted an adjustable rear anti-roll bar, helping reduce body roll and keep the front of the car flatter and better balanced through hard cornering.
The result was a more focused package that makes better use of the 4AGE’s performance — improving acceleration, gear selection and chassis balance without losing the character of the classic KE25.
