GearMotive is a specialist motorsport transmission manufacturer based in Sievi, Finland, producing high-performance H-pattern and sequential dog-engagement gearboxes for rally, circuit, drift, drag and other competition applications.
ZF SEQUENTIAL DOGBOX TRANSMISSION
The GearMotive ZF Sequential Dogbox transmission is based on their well-known H-pattern dog box gearset. This sequential transmission uses same type of gears and shafts, which have proven to work on various racing classes and being very famous product specially in Rally, Circuit and Drifting. The gearset is proven to work on over 1100Nm power in Drifting and Drag racing.
Proven Motorsport Performance
The transmission features extremely strong straight-cut gears and a patented design developed to improve power handling capability. GearMotive reports the underlying gearset has been successfully used in applications producing over 1100 Nm, particularly in drift and drag racing.
A direct 1:1 fifth gear helps reduce transmission losses and noise when running in top gear.
One of the major advantages of the GearMotive design is its compact packaging.
